Awards and Trophies.
Each year the Club holds its Awards’ Dinner. An evening for pilots and their guests to reflect on the year of flying
and catch up with friends over dinner.
For the 2026 flying season we are introducing a new set of awards which aim to make prizes accessible to a larger number
of club members, not just the XC chasers who have hot ship wings and no conflicting priorities when the good weather arrives
during the working week.
We have recently introduced Distance Medals, initially for straight-line distance and now for triangles also.
The Club is keen to encourage and recognise the achievements of pilots at all levels of experience.
