HAZARDS
Can get rough flying and top landing in strong winds due to ridge in
front on the other side of the valley (more applicable to hang-gliders).
CAPACITY
Many on a good day.
ACCESS
Take the A481 out of Builth Wells, turn off right after approx. 3 miles
to farm. Drive through farm and follow the track up the west side of the hill. This track
is very steep and has loose rubble on it, so four-wheel drive is recommended. If you use this access route, £2 per vehicle is payable to the farmer (Geoff, or maybe Jeff).
PARKING
Don't block farmyard when parking by bottom landing field.
TAKE OFF AREA
Drive east along the top of the hill until you find a suitable place to take off.
LANDING AREA
The field to right of the barns on the hill side of the farm track. This
field slopes away from the hill to the middle then up with a fairly steep incline.

SITE RULES
All pilots must be members of the BHPA.
XC POTENTIAL
Best in a NW direction to give most possible miles. The first 8 miles are over hills
and long carry out is possible.
